Position: Group Lead Software Developer
Location: Brierley Hill, West Midlands (commutable from: Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Kidderminster, Birmingham, Walsall, Bromsgrove and Walsall).
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 36.25 hour contract, 8:45am-5:00pm standard hours
Salary: Up to £60,000per annum
Benefits: 28 days annual holiday, inclusive of Bank Holidays, Car Breakdown Insurance, Legal Expenses Insurance, Income Protection, Pension Contribution, Home Emergency Insurance, Death in Service, opportunity to study for industry-recognised qualifications.

ROLE: 
As a Lead Software Developer for a niche company, you will have the opportunity to work on the back-end and front-end development of a bespoke, all-encompassing digital platform, providing LIM Group with a holistic IT solution.

You will be responsible for development and implementation of software throughout the product lifecycle, taking ownership of projects. You will be improving market-leading software and supporting new business opportunities and growth from a development perspective.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 
a) A computer science degree or related, classification of 2:1 or above.
b) Previous experience in developing bespoke web applications.
c) Strong communication and collaboration skills.
d) Developed organisational and time management skills.
e) Essential Development Experience: C#,.net, PHP, SQL, HTML / CSS, outlook plugins.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) Knowledge and experience of secure data storage and of Windows Small Business Servers.
b) Experience in an office environment.
