Desktop Support Analyst

Desktop Support Analyst – 3 month Contract – £240 per day – Crawley, West Sussex.

Our client based in Crawley, is looking to recruit a Desktop Support Analyst on a 3 month contract to provide technical desktop support to internal users across the Company. The Analyst will be working on both Software and Hardware issues, including building and deploying images, so the ideal Candidate would need to be of 2nd Line Support level. The Desktop Support team operates between the hours of 0730-1800 (on a shift basis) in Crawley.

Key responsibilities for the Desktop Support Analyst:

– Receive escalated 1st line calls from Service Desk based in Warrington
– Software and Hardware support on desktops and laptops
– 2nd line support and infrastructure support
– PC builds
– Install Hardware upgrades onto different systems – DELL and Lenovo
– Building images and deploying onto PC`s
– Use of Active Directory

Key Skills & experience for the Desktop Support Analyst:

– Experience of Microsoft 2007, XP, Windows 7 and other operating systems
– Previously built a PC from scratch
– Building and imaging system experience, ideally Clonezilla
– Active Directory experience up to Group Policy level
– Experience of knowledge of Office 365 is desirable
– ITIL experience or knowledge
– Ability to work to strict SLA`s

This is a new opportunity to join a customer focused organisation to provide excellent desktop support for over 1,200 internal Users on a 3 month contract.
