Design Technology Teacher – Independent School Location: Essex Start Date: September 2024 Contract: 1 Year, Full Time Salary: Based on the schools’ generous pay scale We are currently seeking an exceptional DT teacher to join a high-performing independent through school in Essex from September 2024. The school are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to teach Design Technology in their prestigious school. Pupils study Design Technology as a discrete subject at Key Stage 3, at GCSE and A Level. The role involves teaching Design Technology throughout Years 7-11, with the potential to teach Sixth Form for suitable candidates. The school is an excellent place to work and extremely well-located.Their large site with picturesque grounds and state-of-the-art facilities make a wonderful and inspiring learning and working environment. The incoming DT Teacher will specialise in the subject and will effectively share their expertise with their students. They should have a talent for crafting captivating and thought-provoking lesson plans that inspire and engage students. The successful DT Teacher will also be expected to assist in the support offered to pupils outside the classroom, including in the workshops after school. They should strive to foster a positive, orderly, and productive classroom environment.
