Design Engineer / Draughtsman

Salary: £36,000 – £50,400 per year

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team in designing and developing bespoke bearings.

The role can be very hands so will suit someone with strong practical skills

General Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing projects or components
• cover the concept, specification, tender and development of new projects or components
• use CAD systems design the aesthetics, materials and functionality of components
• undertake complex calculations
• communicate effectively with the clients, colleagues and contractors involved in a project
• plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
• Support shop floor manufacturing and Quality teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry recognised qualifications
• IT and CAD knowledge
• time management, organisation, and the ability to work to deadline

The Hours:

the Working Monday- Friday in the office 7.30am starts

The Pay:

You will ear an annual salary depending on skills and experience.
