Salary: £33,600 – £38,400 per year
Due to continued growth this automotive tier one organisation is now seeking to bolster its in-house Design Team. You will be a Product Design Engineer ideally of complex mechanical assemblies and strong appreciation of metal fabricated, casted, or injection moulded components.
Commutable from: Blackburn, Burnley, Bury, Bolton, Rochdale
Salary: £33,600 – £38,400p.a. + benefits
Suitable for: Design Engineer, CAD Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Design Manager, CATIA, CREO
The Role
You will be responsible for the design of the parts and products in regards to numerous new projects working to customer and internal specifications. You will manage the CAD resources to fulfil the design brief and liaise with customers in collaboration with the Design Manager.
The Person
You will be an experienced Design Engineer with in-depth knowledge of high volume automotive, metal fabricated, casted, or injection moulded or assembled component product design. You will also be experienced in the use of either CATIA V5 or CREO (Pro – E), and ideally be degree / HNC qualified in a related subject.
