My client is a UK based in Chesterfield who is seeking a new technician due to organic growth. My client specialises in High Frequency Welding but other production facilities include roller cutting, press cutting, ultrasonic welding, pressure testing and CAD/CAM design and production.

My client is seeking an individual who is seeking a varied role with the real opportunity for personal development in a growing organisation. If you are seeking a role where you can take an idea for concept, through to production with direct contact with the client then this is an ideal role.

Ideally would will have some experience or have a placement year whilst studying in a comparable environment.

Responsibilities
• To respond to all customer enquiries within 24hours of receipt.
• To produce accurate quotes within agreed timescales.
• Produce drawings which are understandable for samples to be made from.
• Create sample products where required, within agreed timescales
• To maintain a healthy and pro-active relationship with new and existing customers
• Tool Design/Production
• Find the best supplier for items/services required.
• Production Process cards must be accurately completed.
• Production Handover
• Annual Price Updates

Experience
• Relevant Engineering Qualification
• Understanding of H/F Welding and ability to design cutting and H/F welding tools – ideal
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of CAD
