Your new company
You will be working for an award-winning provider of care and support for young people. This organisation prides itself on delivering an excellent quality of service and on being an employer of choice within Children’s Social Care. You will be the Deputy Manager for a 5-bedded Residential Home for Young People aged 11-16 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) that has recently been rated as ‘Good’ by OFSTED.

Your new role
As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day management of the home. Working closely with the staff and the service users, you will ensure that the level of care delivery remains extremely high. You will also ensure that the home remains compliant with OFSTED standards.

What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have experience as a Deputy Manager within a Residential Home for Young People, although Team Leaders within a similar setting will be considered. You will have experience line managing and supervising support workers and a good understanding and awareness of relevant legislation.
