Salary: £38,400 per year

Deputy Catering Manager – Loughton – £32K

Our retained client, in the education sector are looking for a Catering Manager to work at one of their sites on the boarders of Essex/London.

Reporting in to the General Manager, you will be in charge of the overall running of the site. Your key responsibilities will be to oversee the business, assist with all hospitality and Health & Safety requirements. This is a 40% office role and 60% operational.

As Deputy Catering Manager you must have an operational background and a love for food and hospitality.

 Key responsibilities:

• Managing a team of chef manager and FOH staff.
• Overseeing the running of all student dining and staff dining.
• This is a 5 of 7 operation with usual working hours being Monday to Friday 0700 – 1500/1600 with some weekend/evening work.
• You will be assisting with all the hospitality across the site.
• 5 catering outlets are on the site.
• Working with the GM, you will also oversee all aspects of Health and safety
• This role is a 52 week contract.

Due to location a car driver is preferred.
