The company
Specialist business courier providing parcel timed last mile delivery, an established technology start up experiencing strong global growth in 70 cities internationally
The Role
Managing a small team of Warehouse staff and drivers and overseeing the depot consolidation and delivery operations
Key responsibilities
– Route planning, non HGV (Full training will be given, using the company’s in house technology.
– Monitor driver performance
– KPI data analysis
– Report preparation
– Plan capacity requirements
– Ad hoc Administration
– Health and safety compliance
The candidate
– A logistics background would be an advantage but is not essential
– Experience of managing small teams
– Comfortable using IT Systems
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
– Excel proficient
– Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements
-Ideally, some local knowledge
– Customer focused
You will not need a degree or logistics qualifications to be a success in this role but you will have drive and enthusiasm and some experience of managing and working with a small team in a fast moving, time critical operation.
