We are looking for friendly and compassionate people who are looking for a rewarding role that will make a difference in peoples lives. We need motivated and hardworking Support Workers and Care Assistants to support service users in residential settings in the Swansea area.

Your Role with Hays

You will be a positive presence in the clients lives, responsible for helping individuals with dementia and mild cognitive impairments feel safe and supported within the service. You’ll work with your clients and family members to assess their cognitive and physical needs, and you will follow a care plan that has been specially tailored to offer the very best all-round support. You’ll support service users with their medication, personal care, shopping, meal preparation and housework. You’ll work with them to establish routines and create visual prompts for everyday tasks.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be motivated and compassionate, as well as friendly and great at communicating.
It is essential that you have at least 6 months experience working within a social care setting, ideally within Dementia services.
You will be flexible and available for a number of shifts; early’s, late’s and long days, as well as wakeful nights.
