Day HGV1 Delivery Driver – Essex – £13.44 – £12.65 p/h – VR/14772

Our client is looking for a keen, enthusiastic and motivated Day Delivery Driver with a checkable work history to carry out work in the Chelmsford area.

The Day Delivery Driver will be required to do their own loading of 33 pallets with frozen, chilled and bulk, as well as unloading at the store using electric pallet trucks.

The Day Delivery Driver must have a full LGV 1 CE Class 1 license with a digital tachograph card and knowledge of local and regional routes. CPC would be preferred however full training will be given.

The position of Day Delivery Driver is a full time permanent contract with a guaranteed 40 hours a week with the chance of overtime (daily requirement of 10/13 hours per hour). It has a fixed rota with 5 days on and 3 days off, with regular store routes of two outbound shipments daily. Shifts will start at 10.30 with a daily requirement of up to 12 hours. Salary is dependent on timings and length of service but will start at £13.44p/h.

Need 2 x 10:30 start.
Daily requirement is anything from 10/13 hours but may have longer if traffic conditions apply.
