Location: Segensworth, Nr Fareham

Pay- From £26,000 per year ( Up to £11.50 for overtime/ weekend work. pay increases with service, up to £26,000 per year after 3 months employment)

We are expecting this job to star spring 2016,however the best drivers will be retained for on going work past Christmas, and have the potential to be offered permanent contracts

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE A ONE TIME TRIP TO SOUTHAMPTON TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL PAPER WORK FOR THIS JOB

3.5 Tonne Multi Drop Van Driver (LWB Sprinter type van) required for an on going contract for a Parcel Delivery company near Segensworth, Hampshire

This position is expected to start in September/ October and is subject to undertaking a security screening process.

Typical hours could fall between 7am-7pm Monday- Friday with overtime payable after 8 hours each day. Optional weekend work may on occasions be available.

The role is to collect and deliver parcels to residential homes and businesses across the South Coast, while proving tracking information. This is fast paced work and requires route planning so good knowledge of the local area is essential

Applicants must be able to safely lift parcels up to 30kg, and be able to deliver a minimum of 70 drops per day within their defined postcode area

Anyone applying should have previously worked as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver (ideally parcel delivery), be well presented, and have a personable nature. Due to elements of customer service and completion of vital paperwork, candidates are required to have a good grasp of the English language both written and spoken.

For insurance purposes, applicants must be over 23 and not to have lost their driving license for dangerous driving
