Data Scientist – Nlp

London start-up building industry-first NLP-powered content identification and classification service seeks talented and motivated NLP Engineer to join their team.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to take leading-edge research an apply it in a high-potential commercial field. As a start-up, your role will be varied but will inevitably centre around software and feature development. Current product development plans incorporate a number of different NLP applications, including NER, Topic Classification & Summarization, so your work will focus on these areas.

Required Experience/Skills

Applicants should have software development and NLP experience and be looking for a challenging role in a start-up environment. Also, you should have:

– Good programming skills, ideally in Java
– Very strong knowledge of Natural Language Processing & Machine Learning techniques
– Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, and experience with ontologies or RDF repositories is a big bonus
– Highly-motivated, passionate about AI/NLP
