Data Protection Officer – Thurrock / Essex

An opportunity has just arisen with our client whom are looking to recruit a Data Protection Officer on a long term temporary contract with an immediate start.
The role.

The client is looking for someone to assist the Information Manager with the delivery of the team work programme throughout the Council. Ensure that there are methods of providing education for all employees to understand their responsibilities in applying good Data Protection practices on a day-to-day basis

To support the Information Manager in providing specialist advice on all of the Eight Principles of the Data Protection Act including Fair Processing requirements, information security and retention enquiries
