Salary: £240 – £330 per day
Job description
Our client Vietec is looking to hire an experienced and competent Data Cabling/Installation Engineer (and who is currently working as such).
Role Purpose
You will be working as part of our team, installing Network Infrastructure at sites across the UK.
What you’ll be doing
On a day to day basis you will:
- Install Network Infrastructure – Cat6/Cat6a and Fibre Optic cabling
- Ensure all work is finished in an efficient and proper manner in accordance with company standards and protocol
- Assist in upholding excellent site security, at all times
- Delivery and collection of assets and materials
- Implementing risk assessments and method statements as and when required
- Report any observed unsafe acts, near misses and positive observations
- Stay up to date with relevant regulatory codes and standards
Who they are looking for
To join them in this role you have the following:
- Network Infrastructure installation experience
- Industry recognised qualifications (CNCI preferred)
- Good understanding of current standards
- Full UK driving licence
- No criminal record (Security & Vetting checks are required)
- Valid ECS/CSCS
- IPAF, PASMA (preferred)
- SSSTS (preferred)
- Midlands based
