Data Analyst

The successful applicant will have skills in extracting and transforming raw data, from various sources and multiple systems, into meaningful, visual and professional reports and added value proposals. A key goal of this role will be to provide insightful data that can help improve the customer experience or service provided by our client.

Responsibilities

Analyse data from multiple sources, combining the results, to provide meaningful and graphical summaries and creative dashboards.
Identify, investigate and report trends through multiple variables.
Work with all existing teams to identify potential issues early, allowing for proactive reporting, and identifying the root cause of the issues experienced.
Carry out analysis of the market place to investigate what other reporting applications are available and what reporting styles are in use.
Conduct a detailed review of all existing reports, creating suggestions for improvement and reviewing with the senior management team.
Skills Required

Holder of a qualification in an IT discipline preferred
Experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools such as SAS, SQL, SPSS and Business Objects.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organisation and time management skills.
A logical thinker who is technically minded with a customer facing focus

This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
Salary £28,800per annum
