Customer Service Advisor

Salary: £27,360 per year

Our client is a leading food importer and distributor, supplying some of the most prestigious restaurants & hotels within the UK. They have experienced significant growth throughout the last few years, employing over 230 employees across three sites. Due to the phenomenal growth, they have an opening within their lively Customer Service Team.

The team are the first point of contact for all their cherished customers. Receiving incoming calls and emails from Chefs, Catering and Restaurant Managers placing orders for fresh produce. As a business they supply fresh ingredients, including fruit, vegetables, cheese and meats. You will receive full training and as such a genuine interest in food and ingredients would be a huge advantage.

Key responsibilities:

• Handling incoming telephone enquiries
• Dealing with queries relating to orders
• Processing orders via the system
• Updating the order system with up to date client information
• Liaison with the Warehouse team to ensure orders are prepared
• Working with the sales team to ensure customers are contacted on a regular basis
• Ad-hoc administration.

You will receive excellent training and support, including desk-side coaching, shadowing other departments to understand the business etc. The client can offer excellent scope to develop and move within the organisation.

Starting salary: £27,360
