Crawley (Remote working option is available with the odd travel into the office for team meetings)

Our client a leading Aviation organisation are currently seeking a Customer Account Manager to join their Airports team in Crawley, West Sussex, UK to manage the department’s day-to-day Airport relationships and work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to their customers.
Responsible for:
- Single Point of contact for Airport and Airline related queries
- Day-to-day relationship with both Airport and Airline customers
- Coordinating disposition of technical, logistical, and operational customer requests
- Working within the guidelines of established contracts, company policies and procedures, including ISO 9001
- Monitoring of system performance and management of service delivery to meet and exceed contracted SLAs, including preparation of service delivery plans as required
- Coordination of change management and outage notification processes
- Identify, qualify and maximise new business opportunities for additional products and services with existing accounts and where deemed appropriate, work with Sales to develop and close such opportunities
- Supporting finance with pricing and preparation of proposals for new requirements and contract extensions
- Oversee project management of small implementations
- Attending customer meetings and ensuring accurate minutes are taken and distributed
- Identifying potential opportunities for up selling
Basic Qualifications/Experience:
- Strong understanding of the marketplace and knowledge of company services/products
- Excellent customer oriented attitude
- Strong organisational, communication (written and verbal) and administrative skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high degree of multi-tasking in a fast-moving, often stressful environment
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in customer service / support, ideally within an airport/airline operational environment
- A good understanding of airport operations and systems
- Ability and willingness to travel between 50 – 70% of the time
- Prior Business Development experience
- Multilingual (A second European Language)
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- ITIL Foundation Level 3; MS Project Foundation; familiar with ISO9001
