Job Title: Credit Controller (Permanent Position)

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Salary: £30,000 per annum + Bonus

Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am – 5pm – 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Sales Ledger – Invoicing customers on a daily basis
• Check Bank receipts and allocate against customer remittance advices, keep sales ledger up to date.
• Credit Control -calling Customer to pursue late payments,
• Check customer credit limits with credit safe and insurance company ongoing basis and update customer records accordingly if necessary.
• Resolve customer queries related to disputed invoices/price differences promptly.
• Process credit card receipts and allocate the receipt to the relevant outstanding invoice brig the customer account up to date.
• Record incoming cheques to the relevant customer account.
• Complete pay-in slips and take to Bank on weekly basis
• Email and post statements on monthly basis, and supply copy invoices to customers on request.
• Aged Debtors analysis on a regular basis, update Finance Manager about the incoming payments.
• Carry out Credit check for prospects and customers
• Process account applications and Pro-forma invoices
