Salary: £29,400 per year

Credit Controller – About the Role

In this role you will be joining an existing credit control team who work within the wider finance team. You will be working alongside other credit controllers on a hybrid working pattern and will be reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager. The successful candidate will be able to build key relationships, resolve queries as they arise and have great commercial awareness. The role requires the chasing of outstanding balances either by phone and/so this role would suit a candidate with strong communication skills. Other duties include:

• Monitoring ledgers to identify customers reaching credit limits
• Negotiation with customers to resolve outstanding issues and secure payment of overdue debt
• Reconciliation of customer statements
• Provide Collection Manager and Sales Department with analysis on late paying customers and any forthcoming issues
• Dealing with queries from both internal and external customers
• Acting on unpaid ledgers and prepare required legal paperwork.

The successful Credit Controller should have

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience with a credit control or finance-based role.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Good Excel and Outlook skills
