Credit Controller (6 Month Contract)

Please note this is a 6 month contract but could lead to a permanent position.

You will be working as part of a small busy and friendly team. The company have been established for over thirty years and have modern open planned offices.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Managing customers’ queries regarding invoice details
• Calling clients requesting payments
. DOS
. Long Over standing debt
.Overdue Debt
• Reconciliations and allocations
• Monthly credit control reports
• Ad hoc invoicing and billing
• Building 1st class and lasting relationships with a large ledger of clients
• And any other ad hoc duties as required by the Credit Control Manager

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5.00pm

To be considered for this role candidates must have previous Credit Control experience, excellent customer service skills and proficient in Microsoft Packages especially Excel. An AAT qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.

The site is based in North Birmingham approximately 7 miles from Birmingham City Centre and accessible on public transport and easily reached by car and parking is provided.

Alternative job titles would include Credit Controller, Accounts Assistant, Credit Control Assistant, Accounts Administrator, AAT
