Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year
This well-established professional services organisation are looking for an experienced credit controller to join their team. This role will be fully office based and is commutable by public transport.
Credit Controller – About The Role
In this role you will be working within an established finance team and will be responsible for assisting the daily running of the Credit Control function. Furthermore, you will be required to build & maintain good relationships internally & externally as well as providing ad hoc support to the finance team. Your key responsibilities will be:
- Monitoring outstanding supplier balances and making informed decisions for further action.
- Ensuring timely payments of debts and minimising aged debt.
- Preparation of statements and supplier status reports for senior finance.
- Contacting suppliers using a multitude of effective and efficient methods.
- Reconciliation of debtor positions.
- Enhance and implement the credit control module processes via the system.
- Responding to relevant supplier enquiries and resolving queries.
The successful Credit Controller will have
- 5+ years in a Credit Control position.
- Experience within the professional services industry would be desirable.
- Good excel skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
