The Client & Role | Who Are They?

We’re looking for a qualified accountant that loves manufacturing. Our retained client is a manufacturer of components for the automotive, aerospace and medical markets. This is a complex, fast paced, multi-stage process that is both capital and labour intensive incorporating thousands of raw materials sku’s and BOM’s into the hundreds for some products. With a turnover exceeding £50m and growing, they are now looking to appoint a Cost Accountant who understands the process and can build standard cost models from which the business can drive commercials decisions.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

This role requires someone that can not only develop the models but that can truly understand the process and populate the models with the right information to get to the true cost. As a highly visible role in the organisation, it will be pivotal in the on-going and future success of the business and will be ideally positioned for further career development in the future.

To be considered you must:

Be qualified, CIMA or ACCA or equivalent.

Have experience in cost accounting in a complex manufacturing environment.

I can’t hide the fact this will be an intense and full so if you’re looking for an easy life this probably isn’t the role for you, but if you’re ambitious and want a position where your efforts can make a genuine and tangible impact on the business then we’d love to hear from you.
