Contracts Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £84,000 per year

Contracts Manager Derby, Nottingham and Sutton coldfield.

Contracts Manager – with a distinguished track record in successful management of diverse refurbishment projects up to £4,000,000.

As a Contracts Manafer the projects are predominantly within the refurbishment and fit out sectors, Student Accommodation, Health care, offices and Education.

The successful Contracts Manager candidate will have a strong knowledge of the construction industry and possess a level of confidence that only experience brings. Must be commercially aware with proven motivational and organizational skills whilst maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety. Excellent communication and computer literacy skills incorporating programming are essential.

Contracts Manager duties

Managing multiple projects and a team of Project Managers and Site Managers. Work with Quantity Surveyors/ Estimator to deliver budgets and delivery of projects

The Contracts Manager will assist if possible or have an active part in recruitment in this developing team.

Contracts Manager – capabilities

Deliver circa £5m p.a. with a growing team.
Capable of design and detail specification review.
Responsible for implementation and monitoring of health & safety systems.
Capable of client management and development.
Responsible for high quality above industry standard finish on which we insist.
Oversee material procurement and scheduling.
Able to resource projects form internal and own contacts.
Projects from £500k to £5m in value to a maximum turnover value.
Plant requisition.
Management of Sub Contractors.
Reporting to director/ board level.
Manage drawing and information distribution both internal and external.
