Contract NX 7.5 Design Engineer

Parker White are currently seeking a Design Engineer conversant with NX 7.5 (Unigraphics) to undertake a 6 month contract within a Worcester based manufacturing firm.

The client are a leading name in the design and manufacture of various components, Catches and latches for a number of industries including Automotive, Defence, Rail and Aerospace.
Due to an increase in recent business they are looking to increase their existing design team by one experienced design engineer for a minimum term of 6 months.

Ideal applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• HND/HNC or equivalent I relevant Design or Engineering discipline
• Extensive Knowledge of 3D Modelling, Surfacing and detailing with NX 7.5 (Previously Unigraphics / Siemens)
• Experience in injection moulding and diecasting
• Creation of BOMs
• Managing heavy and varied workloads

Ideally candidates will also have experience in full project design (Cradle to Grave) and have worked in a high volume manufacturing environment previously.

In return my client is offering:

• Up to £28ph (Depending on skills and experience)
• 40hr contract (Overtime negotiable)
• Potential flexible working hours
• Travel Expenses (During work hours for work business travel)
