3 MONTH MINIMUM

£14.00-£14.50 umb status

upto £26.1 Saturday and upto £29 ph Sunday Umbrella Status

My client are a Bedford based, special purpose machinery manufacturer, they have recently boomed and with international orders coming in constantly this client needs urgently to add 3 mechanical fitters to their well established team. This thriving business could be the perfect opportunity for your next contract, they currently employ 15 contractors on top of their regular staff, some of which have been in position for 3 years plus.

The Role of Mechanical Fitter

Working to technical drawings

Creating Sub Assemblies

Using hand tools

Using air tools

working as part of a team

Working to tight tolerances

Using mechanical engineering principals

Monday – Friday

Weekends overtime

Average contractors work 60 plus hours per week

The right Mechanical Fitter

* Mechanical apprenticeship qualified
* Experience of machine build
* Experience of bespoke builds
* Working to technical drawings
* Worked in automation, robotics or special purpose machinery
* Happy to work in the Bedfordshire area
* Available immediately
* Have own tools
