Here we work closely with our clients to identify their needs and deliver customer focused products and services. Utilising our multi skilled teams with the assistance of smart technology we develop solutions to help clients manage the growing urbanisation in their cities and communities.

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Contract Manager. In this role you will manage the safe delivery of North West England Highways Lighting PFI activity within the defined delivery region via operational teams comprising of Project Engineers, Resource Supervisors, Administrators and field based trade teams.

Safety is our main focus and ensuring this is maintained at all times. You will ensure all Highways PFI delivery activity is managed and executed in a safe manner and address any issues through to resolution.

You will manage the local PFI activity seeking opportunities to both maintain and grow existing Highways Lighting Business, actively seeking new business and complete tenders for future projects in the northern region. Therefore, relationship building and excellent communication skills are vital.

As part of the role you will drive performance and act as a role model to ensure activity meets all time cost and quality targets required by the business, including environmental requirements. Actively promoting a culture of well being and leading by example.

What we need from you

  • An ONC or equivalent in a relevant engineering or business/management discipline.
  • PFI and Lighting or Traffic Signals experience.
  • An understanding of the engineering, technical and operational requirements relevant to the activity.
  • A strong track record of delivery of KPI performance and achieving targets, including customer service.
  • Personal drive and the ability to motivate others.
  • An understanding of management accounting.
