Contract Compliance & Process Improvement Manager – Europe remote working – €70-75k plus package.

An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing FM Service provider in Europe. We are looking for an experienced Facilities Management professional who has strong experience in contract management. This role will be starting in the mobilisation phase of a large new multi national contract across Europe. We need someone who can also audit existing procedures, organise the operational supply chain and potentially look into new technologies. We need someone who can ensure that the contract is being adhere to but who can also recognise clauses which may be unfair, dangerous or unclear so that my client can challenge them with their client. You need to be analytical and have strong financial contract experience.

The Contract Compliance & Process Improvement Manager is responsible for:

1. Clients Contract Management in regards of Compliance of agreed terms and conditions, amongst them SLA’s, KPI’s, Bonus/Malus-Agreements, Extra works, Finance, Reporting.

2. Identifying and execution of process improvements and standardization opportunities.

3. Review, development and performing internal audit procedures and preparing internal/external audit reports reflecting the results of the work performed. Preparation of action plans and corrective measures in case of deviations to the contract.

The position reports to the Business Excellence Manager, during the mobilization period of a newly won clients contract he/she is an integral part of the mobilization team and during the lifetime of a contract he/she will be a strong sparring partner for the Key Account Directors responsible for the respective client.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyzing and understanding the legal, financial and operational implications of an international Facility Management Clients contract and extraction of the obligations for us and our shareholders and partners.

• Design & deliver both internal and external presentations of key performance data (financial and operational) for the client on country, cluster and site level.

• Support for and communication to regional teams regarding understanding of the global agreement and understand the differences in country specific needs.

• Designing & implementing correct use of business process standards.

• Designing & implementing correct use workstreams and workorder management.

• Ensuring teams have a full understanding of the responsibilities of the management and administration of the contract. Assisting regional teams with contract and commercial queries to optimise operational delivery and minimise escalations.

• Homogeneous and transparent approach / reporting over all sites and countries in line with clients guidelines and rules.

• Cost control and auditing.

• Setup all relevant and requested financial reporting to and from Client.

• Works with the Business Excellence Manager and Account Directors to develop, implement, monitor and audit the business and its partners’ compliance with service delivery requirements and customer contracts.

• Reviews and audits statement of works, processes, controls and performance monitoring elements to assess and assure compliance and effectiveness.

• Evaluate processes by analysing time, number of workers, equipment, actions workers need to take, achieving the end production with no errors, safety, and environmental requirements.

• Identifies process improvements that lead to improved service delivery, cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities.

• Manage and influence client and partner network contacts and maintain positive working relationships.

• Thoroughly understands and stays abreast of the fundamentals and trends of facilities management.

Key Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management software tools.

• Good communication, presentation, negotiation and report writing skills.

Profile: 

• Background in the service industry and facilities management.

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently (remotely) as well as part of a team.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

• Pro-active approach and enthusiastic.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, supply chain management. engineering or equivalent.

• > 2 years’ experience in similar positions with focus on contract management.

• Must understand auditing standards and risk assessment practices.

• Experience in process improvement, Lean principles, engineering.

• Pro-active and results orientated approach.

• Enthusiastic & ambitious.

• Fluent in English (in writing as well as verbal), and preferably French / German.

Work location:

• Anywhere in Europe – home office or Shareholder locations (to be agreed)

• International travel: frequent travel may be required
