Capita Social Care and Housing are now recruiting enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team of contact and escort workers.
The role will involve working with Looked after Children, taking them to visit their parents and other relatives in a supervised and controlled environment.
The role of the contact worker is to supervise contact sessions, ensuring the safety of the children, and writing factual reports of contact. Applicants must have a good standard of English and have the ability to write clear, detailed observational reports.
The role will involve escorting children to and from the contact sessions and applicants must therefore hold a full clean driving licence. Successful applicants will need to have business insurance and be a car owner.
Experience of working within the social care sector or with children is essential. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in childcare or Health and Social Care is desirable.
