Contracts Manager Construction

Our client, a very well respected Building Contractor, based in Leeds, seek to add an additional Contracts Manager to their existing team.

With exiting growth plans, as well as some fantastic blue chip clients already on board, they operate within the New Build, Refurbishment and Maintenance areas, covering sectors such as Leisure, Education, Commercial, Healthcare to name but a few.

Formed in the 1990’s the company has seen sustained growth over recent years and currently has a turnover approaching £12m.

What are they looking for?

An experienced Contracts Manager with at least 5 years’ experience within the Construction industry.

With project values ranging from £150k through to £5m, you will be experienced in running multiple contracts within this range.

Other duties to include:

Overseeing the smooth running of several contracts from start to completion

Communicating with all parties on the contract, including Site Manager, Client, Sub-Contractors, Health and Safety Officers etc.

Managing the client’s expectations at all times, handling any disputes in a timely, professional manner.

Ensuring contracts are handed over on time, within budget and to the required standard of finish.

As well as your previous experience you will need to be very personable, an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, a team player and have a positive can do attitude.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is considered a highly important role that needs dedication, effort and commitment from interested parties.
