Salary: £26,400 – £28,800 per year

Premier Teachers is a specialist education recruitment company based in Sunderland which is managed by an experienced teacher. As a fast growing independent agency, we provide a very personal service to teachers and schools.

We are looking to recruit a Compliance and Payroll Officer. You would join a team of experienced consultants in a highly driven, fun and successful team that connects the best teaching and support staff, which are vital to local schools. As a Compliance and Payroll Officer you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance of all candidates and running payroll and invoicing on a weekly basis. Also, to roll out our new sales and client relationship management system with our team. We are open to applications from candidates with or without experience as full training will be given.

This will involve:

  • Undertaking a comprehensive series of checks to ensure candidate suitability and compliance, conforming to Department for Education, and Recruitment & Employment Confederation standards, thus ensuring an excellent quality assurance process
  • Collecting and collating time sheet information
  • Carrying out payroll on a weekly basis
  • Carrying our invoicing using our system on a weekly basis
  • Remittance generation and sending out to clients
  • Liaising with clients and candidates as part of the role

You must:

  • Possess the desire and ability to work in a varied and fast-paced sales and training environment
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • The ability to work with minimum guidance whilst carrying out multiple tasks
