Communications Officer (Ext + Int)

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, developing and expanding organisation that is seeking to recruit an individual with communications experience to join their marketing team.

The role will require to take responsibility for managing and creating assets and content for advertising, digital and social media, blogs, press articles and other communications to brokers and retail customers.

Another key aspect of the role will be to plan and execute one-off and regular communications activities via a range of digital and offline channels, while also conducting including performance reviews and implementation of on-going enhancements.

Duties will include:

* Implement external B2B, B2B2C and B2C communication as well as internal communication activities, broadcast via a wide range of channels
* Identify and create compelling messages to drive impactful communications across the different brands and audiences
* Develop, assemble and write content as required for a content-led approach to marketing / communications, including advertorials and other native content for placement in trade and consumer publications both online and offline
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage inputs / feedback, manage sign-off and review processes as appropriate
* Create content for the delivery of regular, timely and meaningful social media communications
* Ensure all brand promotions, materials and communications comply with regulatory requirements

Skills and experience required:

* Experience in a communications role developing and implementing external communications is essential
* Previous experience managing and creating digital and media and assets is essential
* Primary author of external communications content experience is desirable
* Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders is essential
* Sound and up-to-date knowledge of marketing principles and practices is essential
* Excellent written and verbal skills for copy and content creation is essential
* Sound knowledge of the various relative merits of different channel and media, and how to leverage these to best effect, is essential
* An intermediate level of knowledge of MS Packages
