One of the most exciting and rewarding automotive jobs we have worked on. The Client Company are at the forefront of Classic and Historic car restoration including full re-build. They specialise in Jaguar cars in the main but undertake projects on other classics cars. The catalog of work fulfilled by the client Company is, in motor car land “the holy grail” covering historic Le Mans and GT racing cars to iconic road cars.

The opportunity is for a person to join this Company and make a very substantial contribution to an already progressive and successful Business. Imagine working in and around really historic and iconic race cars for your living, does it get any better?

You will need the broadest possible knowledge of the automotive industry, probably gained at dealership general manager level with body-shop connections; your skills should include: highly developed aftermarket and after-sales skills which encompass some element of international parts sales. You will also need to have a car service/maintenance background and understand the flow of work through workshops. There are extensive chassis, bodywork and trim projects taken on which will require your input from both a sourcing standpoint and purchasing services/parts from external parties. You will see that this is no ordinary after-sales job but one that requires a very special person who’s job could be their hobby.
The Company is involved quite closely with Jaguar Cars Ltd and maintaining those excellent relationships form an integral part of this job. You will also be key in the development of a very exciting, bespoke car “production” project which has been won due to the world class work the Client Company has completed in the last 25 years.
