Commercial Cip Manager

Salary: £50,400 – £54,000 per year

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial CIP Manager to join a leading civil engineering sub contractor in Caterham.

The purpose of the Commercial CIPs Manager is to oversee and perform the finance, operations and administrative functions related to processing and receipt of the SGN contract income and reporting on profitability, working with and alongside the Planning team and Quantity Surveyor function. This role also includes responsibility for supporting the Directors in the development of financial and operational strategies to ensure the continued success of the business.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is:

• Educated to GCSE level with good grade in Mathematics and English Language
• Understanding of financial requirements of income recognition, reporting KPIs and cashflow
• Well-developed people management skills, able to motivate, be assertive as required, create respect and get the best out of the team
• Experienced and able to communicate effectively at senior management level and able to explain concepts and train processes to less senior employees
• Understand the business sectors and the legal and contractual requirements, and ensure that they are complied with in relation to the role and the team
• Experienced and effective at working with a range of IT systems and databases (e.g. Microsoft Office) and has the aptitude to quickly master client related software
