Combined Authority Programme Manager

The Role:
A job for Combined Authority Programme Manager has become available in the Liverpool area.
The position will involve:
– Overseeing the One Public Estate programme
– To liaise with the Local Government Association and Government Property Unit in delivering the OPE Programme in the Liverpool City Region
– To work with the Combined Authority Regeneration, Transport and Employment & Skills leads and the Local Enterprise Partnership to establish how OPE can support the delivery of key infrastructure and economic growth.
– To work with the Combined Authority Spatial Planning and Housing lead to ensure Land and Property decisions support the emerging Liverpool Region Combined Authority Spatial Planning Framework and Housing Strategy.
– To identify those work streams across the Liverpool City Region, which OPE can help facilitate/co-ordinate to ensure a strategic/joined up approach to land and property decisions across the Combined Authority, e.g. service rationalisations, Heritage Property Review, Health Estates Reviews
– To support the Liverpool Region Strategic Property Board and emerging Land Commission in the delivery of a coherent and evolving programme of work to unlock land supply

The Candidate:
The ideal Candidate must have a strong background in delivering Public Sector infrastructure projects.
Excellent knowledge of Public Estates is required as are outstanding organisational and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of OJEU and Government systems and networks is also required.
