Coding Tutor
Job Description
We are in an incredible position to be able to expand our offering at Portfield School. A high percentage of our students have a real passion for coding, how computers work, how to take apart and all things IT. We therefore are in the position to hire for a Coding Tutor to join us on a part time 15 hours per week (two days).
A Coding Tutors day would include:
- To teach a creative and individual coding programme to our students
- Assist students to develop their software capabilities
- Guide on how to fix and maintain various codes in different formats. Depending on students needs this will be from Phython to Raspberry PI.
- Plan and deliver high quality sessions working in partnership with our leading multidisciplinary therapy team to ensure each students needs are met.
Our ideal applicant would be:
- Someone who is either working towards a BSC Degree in Computer Science, Web Development or Computer Programming.
