CNC Turner / Miller

Salary: £15.6 – £16.8 per hour

CNC Turner / Miller (Programmer, Setter, Operator) Immediate start 

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary range: £15.6 – £16.8p.h. negotiable, dependant on experience

We are seeking a capable and motivated CNC Production Engineer to machine components to high quality standards, in a timely manner ensuring production schedules are met. 

The successful CNC Turner / Miller will be a good team player but also able to work on their own initiative. 

They will have experience of using a wide range of CNC controls and experience of programming, setting and operating CNC turning and milling machines. 

They will be able to read and understand technical drawings/specifications and ideally have experience in a precision engineering environment.

CNC Turner / Miller – main tasks will include:

• Programming, Setting, and operating CNC lathes and CNC milling machines using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls (experience of other controls will be considered).
• Use and follow the daily work order planning/scheduling list as required.
• Ensuring all jobs are logged so production work can be accounted for accurately.
• Able to check own and others work prior to it being submitted for inspection and first offs.
• Maintaining machines on a daily basis including regular checks of coolant and oil levels.
• Supporting factory change management objectives when required (set up reduction/process mapping/5S/TPM and factory transformation).

Core hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.
