As the successful CNC Miller you will be working with a team of highly skilled machinists who are very supportive.

Duties

* Programming, setting and operating a variety 3 axis mills to manufacture precision metal components

* Programming, setting and operating using Heidenhain controls

* Offline programming using AlphaCam, Ez-Mill and EdgeCam (training can be provided)

* Producing various batch sizes

* Work as a team to ensure quality and production targets are meet

* Producing components from engineering drawings through to completion of final article

* Self-inspection

* Working with a variety of materials

Skills & Experience

* Must be able to program, set and operate using Heidenhain controls

* Experience of offline programming would be an advantage

* Experience of AlphaCam, Ez-Mill or EdgeCam

* Experience of working on machining centres

* Good knowledge of cutting tools

* Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Strong team player who can who work on their own when required

* Competent in the use of hand-held measuring equipment

Hours

* 40 hrs per week

* 08.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday

* Overtime available

* 22 days holiday + bank holidays
