CNC Setter / Operator (Milling) Nights

Our client is a large manufacturing/design and engineering company based in Southend and they currently have an opportunity for a CNC Setter/Operator Milling for the night shift.

This role will require you to set and manufacture small-batch aerospace components and key duties will include:

• Responsible for setting/operating and manufacturing a variety of small-batch components from engineering drawings to within tight limits

• Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture

• Responsible for carrying out all tasks allocated by the Team Leader in a timely and efficient manner

Requirement for this role are:

– CNC Setting Milling experience
– Engineering qualification

The hours are 39 per week as follow:

MONDAY 5.30 p.m.- 2.30 a.m.(tues) 8.5 hours
TUESDAY 5.30 p.m.- 2.30 a.m.(wed) 8.5 hours
WEDNESDAY 5.30 p.m.- 2.30 a.m.(thur) 8.5 hours
THURSDAY 5.30 p.m.- 2.30 a.m.(fri) 8.5 hours
FRIDAY 3.30 p.m.- 8.30 p.m. 5 hours
