CNC Plasma Setter / Operator

Salary: £18.6 per hour

Our client a leading engineering company based in Wrexham is currently looking for a CNC Plasma Setter / Operator to join their team on a temp to perm assignment.

Duties to include:

• Setting and operating a CNC Plasma machine to cut raw materials into specific designs using ProNest nesting software.
• Preloading the machine with raw materials using a FLT counterbalance truck.
• Unloading of finished product and transporting these to the engineering workshop.
• Ensuring quality checks are completed during all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
• Supporting the engineering site with general labouring duties in between your projects.

Successful candidates:

• Will have previous experience of working on a CNC Plasma cutting machine.
• Ideally will have had previous experience of working with ProNest nesting software.
• Will hold a current FLT counterbalance licence
• Will be willing to complete a temporary period with the agency with the view of being offered a permanent contract with the client upon completion of this period.
• Will be willing to support the engineering operation with general labouring duties outside of the machine running.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
• Overtime Available

Pay Rates:

• £18.6 per hour basic
• Weekday and Saturday morning overtime paid at x1.5
• Saturday afternoon and Sunday overtime paid at x2
