CNC Setter Operator

Salary: £32,400 – £41,400 per year

Our Client based in Aldermaston is looking for a CNC Operator with Setting and operating skills using Hurco machines on a permanent basis. Our client provides engineering and manufacturing solutions for industries such as Aerospace and Defence.

Job Description

CNC Machinist Requirements:

· Experience with Setting and Operating

· Must be self-sufficient & able to Set and operate multiple machine tools (bias towards Hurco controls preferred)

· Demonstrable experience in an aerospace or other highly regulated production environment preferred.

· Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

· Programming, setting, and operating using Hurco machine tools & controls

· Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation

· Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department

· Support quick turnaround innovation tasks

· Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross-training within the department

· Further opportunities exist to expand skills
