Our client is an AS9100 accredited company, providing precision engineering services to motorsport (F1), aerospace, and the medical precision industry.
They are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their CNC milling team. The ideal candidate will be seeking a career and growth position within their continuously growing business.
This role will require a highly skilled individual that can work to a 3-4 axis milling level (anything above a bonus). Their communication skills should be excellent.
Quality is at the core of what they do and therefore, the successful candidate will be expected to understand and instil the clients quality requirements.
The successful candidate will need to be dynamic and hands-on in their role to enable the demanding delivery requirements to be met.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Ability to program, set and run up to and including CNC 3-4 axis milling machinery (Haas using OneCNC or HyperMILL)
* Ensuring consistent quality
* Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met
Qualifications and Skills
* Haas using OneCNC or HyperMILL – Desirable but not essential
* Worked with exotic materials – Titanium at minimum
* Programming from models
* Read technical drawings
* CAD / CAM essential
* Extensive experience in milling is essential
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills
* Strong organisational skills – forward thinking approach
* Team player
* Using CMM / Optical scanners
* Computer-literate
