CNC Engineer
Leicester
Basic salary: £54,000p/a.
Shifts: 40 hours per week – Sunday to Thursday evenings.
Benefits: 33 Days Annual Leave, £54,000Call out Allowance, Overtime at X1.5, 16% Pension (8% matched), Life Assurance x3 basic salary, Uniform & Power tools provided, Various on the job training courses.

Auxtronic is partnered with a world leader in the design and manufacturing of high precision machine tools for the Medical, F1, Automotive and Aerospace industries.
Established for over 30 years, Winbro Technologies have a fantastic reputation and are renowned for high quality products which has resulted in them maintaining long term contracts with huge industry leaders such as Rolls Royce.
With Group backing after a 2019 merger, they now approach 500 employees and are turning over a consistent £80m in annual revenue. Our client has grown and now operate across 2 major manufacturing sites in Leicestershire aswell as a HQ in the United States.
Right now they have an opening for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work autonomously on their evening shift and carry out reactive and planned maintenance handing over from the days based team.
The role: Evening shift Engineer
* Carrying out Mechanical and Electrical maintenance to fix a variety of breakdowns occuring on CNC production machinery.
* Repairing multi-axis CNC machines, Manual Machine Tools, EDM Machines, Drilling and Milling machines and Lathes, aswell as lifting and materials handling equipment across the plant.
* Carrying out PPM’s and routine maintenance on equipment, working through a job sheet to carry out oil changes, bearing replacements, lubricating moving parts, greasing components and changing over worn parts.
* Some aspects of PLC’s fault finding aswell as working through drawings (Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley).
* Handing over from the day shift team, carrying out any remaining tasks or repairs.
Entry requirements:

5 Years minimum experience as a Maintenance Engineer, minimum 2 years fixing CNC Machines.
*
Multi-Skilled (Preferably electrically biased but will consider Mechanical bias with electrical competency).
*
Preferred industry experience: CNC, Tier 1 Automotive/Aerospace manufacturing, General manufacturing, Food, Aggregates, Pharmaceuitical.
*
Apprenticeship trained with a City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ level 3 qualification in electrical (or Mechanical) maintenance/installation.
