Role: CMM Operative

Key Duties
Carry out inspections on parts using a Coordinate-measuring machine

Utilising general quality inspection techniques and manual measurement equipment (vernier’s, micrometer’s, gauges) to inspect a variety of parts ranging from small precision components through to large components

Documenting quality issues and reporting Non conformances

Ideally have experience in using Faro Arm or Hexagon scanning arm measurement machines.

Required Skills & Experience
Previous experience of operating a CMM

Experience of general inspection duties within an Engineering/Manufacturing setting is essential

An understanding of working with micrometers, Verniers and Gauges and calibration techniques would be advantageous but not essential

Working Hours / Benefits for Both Positions

Week 1 – Monday to Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday – 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,

Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday – 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.,

25% shift allowance on the afternoon shift

Paid Overtime (Mon – Fri, Time and a Third), (Saturday, Time and a Half) and (Sunday, Double Time)

22 days, plus bank holidays
