Salary: £90,000 – £102,000 per year
- Remote working in UK or Ireland
- International Microsoft partner
- £75k – £85k base + 10% bonus + health + pension
Our client is a leading Microsoft partner and IT services company that has been in operation over 20 years across the UK and Ireland. Due to significant growth across their entire lines of business, they are now seeking a new Azure Consultant to join their current team of 5. It is a critical role within their consulting practice and will be instrumental in delivering client projects.
In this role you will be working alongside other team members, with sales, pre-sales and delivery teams plus senior customer technical leads to scope and deliver solutions. The role is client facing, providing independent and expert consultancy support to projects across a wide range of industry sectors. The right candidate must be able to clearly explain the benefits and underlying concepts of Azure services. They must also be able to articulate how we can help customers realise the benefits. They will also possess the ability to implement the proposed solutions.
Further responsibilities include:
- Technical delivery, design, and planning.
- Assist Sales in solution pricing.
- Be a “trusted expert advisor” when needed – maintaining detailed industry knowledge.
- Post sales Technical Delivery ownership of delivery activities.
- Client Professional Services delivery leveraging your key skills
Technical Skills & Experience include:
- Experience in implementing complex IT Services
- Experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions across PaaS and IaaS
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform would be a benefit
- Containers experience would be another benefit but not essential
- 5+ years IT experience including some in consulting or project related role
- Azure Qualifications
- Strong business acumen and exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
