Location:Bromley, Kent
Salary: Part time permanent – up to 30hrs per week, term time only.
Salary £38,080 – £50,317pro rata depending on experience

Swanstaff Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a successful and growing care institution. We are looking for an exceptional individuals to join the team as a Clinical or Educational Psychologist.This is an exciting opportunity.

On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit psychologist to work as part of a fantastic multidisciplinary team. Our client is located in Bromley and is a specialist in a day and residential education facility aged 19 to 25 with a range of complex learning needs, physical disabilities and a growing number with ASD.

There will be the opportunity to further develop a wide range of core clinical psychology skills such as teaching, training, consultation, supervision, and audit /service evaluation. The post holder will contribute to the psychological thinking around the provision and evaluation of care provided within the college.

Requirements:

– Have a doctorate in clinical or educational psychology
– Evidence of continued professional and personal development
– Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
– Registered with HCPC
– Membership of the British Psychology Society
– Able to work flexibly as required by the service
– A minimum of 3 years` experience of working with students with learning disabilities
– Experience of using a variety of communication methods systems with individuals and the ability to adapt these to the individual’s needs.
– Ability to communicate using the students` preferred method of communication (ie communication book or VOCA etc)
– Be willing and able to work at other client`s satellite sites on an ad hoc basis
