SEN Class Teacher – Key Stage 3 / 4
This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced SEN Teacher or aspiring SEN Teacher to join a friendly and established team of teachers and Teaching Assistants at this Ofsted Good special school for children with severe learning difficulties. Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for enabling young people to access education, no matter the barriers that they may face?  Are you empathetic, caring, and compassionate? Yes, experience supporting children would be beneficial, however, the school are open to applicants who have not worked within a special school before. As a SEN class teacher you will be joining an experienced and dedicated team of teaching and support staff who always put the needs of the children they support first. You will be teaching a mixed class of KS3 & 4 children who are working at a similar level. This role requires a QTS teacher who is looking for an exciting opportunity where no two days are the same. Job Role:

  • Teaching a small class of Key Stage 3/4 children with Special Educational Needs
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
