Class 2 Driver

Maxwell Bruce’s client based on the outskirts of Edinburgh is currently recruiting for full time temporary Class 2 drivers.

You will have a valid Class 2 license with no more than 6 points, for insurance purposes no DD’s or DR’s in your recent past will be considered.

Candidates must also possess a valid digi-tacho and CPC card.

Key Duties

• Assisting as a member of a collection team in the collection of recycling.
• Collecting specific bins from household and trade customers.
• Bulk special uplift collection and recycling.
• Responsible for completing scheduled work on the day of collection.
• Carrying out assisted rear door collections and assisting the public.
• Tasks include operation of the lifting mechanism on the vehicles.
• Ensure Compliance of all Health and Safety legislation.
• Carry out non-driving duties when required which will include manual handling duties.
• Mechanical operation skills of allocated vehicles and other equipment.
• Responsible for care and operation of loads.
• Accurate completion of all documentation relating to all vehicle legislation.
• Candidates will need to complete an on site induction prior to commencing work.
• Ensure compliance of all health and safety legislation.

The core working hours are 6.00am till 2.00pm.

Own transport is advantageous due to start time and location.
