Motor Trade Jobs/Automotive Vacancies: Full Time Class 2 Driver Required For Accident Repair Centre

Our Client, an Accident Repair Centre, is looking to hire a Class 1 or 2 Driver for their business in the Derbyshire area.

The role entails timely collection and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring the customer is aware of delivery/delays and that they fully understand the repair process

You will be responsible to the Office Manager and Bodyshop Manager.

You are expected to carry out the following tasks:
Be punctual and on time
Collection and deliveries
Plan routes prior to departure
Identify and manage a vehicle defect book on a daily basis in line with HGV operating procedures
Collect all necessary customer paperwork from Reception, checking courtesy cars for damage and cleanliness before delivery to the customer
Confirm any damage or cleanliness issues with Reception team
Notify customer and reception when a delay is imminent
Complete all customer paperwork in presence of customer, noting down vehicle details on both courtesy car and customer vehicle, confirming claim damage and old damage
Operate electronic or manual winch type machinery, to load and unload vehicles from delivery truck
Collection of excess payments
Compliance with all H&S procedures
Compliance with Financial procedures
Compliance with customer service procedure

As well as experience in the role you must have a Class 1 or 2 Licence
