Class 2 Driver

Salary: £16.8 per hour

Drake Recruitment are currently recruiting for our client based in Corby for class 2 drivers.

Start times are between 04:30 – 06:30. Predominately M-F but 1 in 3/4 Saturday’s.

This is a multi drop role with a targeted average drop rate of 14 per day max.

The role includes:

Accurate picking on a 18t manual vehicle and delivery of customer orders.

Collecting monies

Maintaining product temperatures

Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA regulations

Health and Safety (SSOW),

hygiene and other related legislation

Temp to perm positions available

You’ll have:

HGV2 license

Digital Tachograph Card

Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions

The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion

Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Pay rate for this role is £16.8p/h
